A staple of New Mexico high school football is returning to its roots this March. And he’s honoring his family’s legacy and success. Former standout Eldorado High School quarterback, former University of Michigan tight end, and current Pittsburgh Steelers tight end, Zach Gentry is returning to Albuquerque. The UNM women’s basketball team began its quest for their first NCAA Tournament berth since 2008 last night in Las Vegas, Nev. The Lobos defeated San Diego State, 63-60, to advance to their second-straight Mountain West Conference Tournament semifinals. This is the 16th time in the 23 year-history of the conference, that the UNM women’s basketball team is in the semifinals.
